Pete’s Dragon is a beautifully revived and embellished idea that had gone lost in humdrums of life. Disney digs up a lost tale, primps, preens and touches it and lo! It turns green. Green’s a pun-wink of course. DIRECTION OF PETE’S DRAGON Enchanting direction! The depth of David Lowery’s direction is simply mind-boggling. His images speak …
Our favourite duo Key and Peele are here with their very own fully fledged movie. Keanu is sort of a strange unraveling comedy made better by its rib-tickling comic performances. Brilliant comic timings of Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele aggrandize every comic scene they are in. There constant reasoning with references is what fills their cajoling with …
Jason Bourne is back! The ever so popular duo Matt Damon and Paul Greengrass; they are at it again. They go full blown trying to recreate that obscured Robert Ludlum magic that we are all diehard fans of. The theme we have here though is strangely similar to all the prequels. Unnecessary as it seemed to …
Alluring! If there is someone who can come close to doing The BFG justice, it is none other than Steven Spielberg himself. He nails it and creates this enchanting image of the giant that we had always marveled about as kids. Spielberg brings him to life with his astounding powerful direction well supported constantly by the flick’s …
A whole lot of bang with no deafening noise to cover it all up. Suicide Squad might not be that DC movie you have been impatiently waiting for, and it is highly probable that we are never going to hit that old Nolan high ever again, but it still manages to rope you in with …
A tribute to the original. Funny at times but falls flat big time. Anything about Ghostbusters and it takes us back in time. The Ivan Reitman project was hands down colossal. You watch it even in this era and it still manages to leave its impression on you. Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters comes nowhere close to …
The beauty of Star Trek Beyond lies in its pensive narration. It will let you resonate alongside the musings of its characters. For once you will truly fathom the importance of USS Enterprise in the lives of Trekkers. You will get to witness the rudimentary lost Franklin up and running. You will see why a …
Lights Out has everything you wish to see in a horror movie. But there are instants herein that stop it from reaching petrifying levels of a great riveting horror flick. It doesn’t retain the flair of a slow paced scare. However, within its nimble charisma lies its true heart throbbing dread. Also, Alexander DiPersia is …
Batman The Killing Joke walks in with that same old stunning Joker lore with a bit of Barbara’s emotional turmoil hooked to it. We find Paris Franz here, another badass villain that talks through the smug of a pyscho, and you can’t help but wonder about the similarities he shares with Batman’s archenemy Joker himself. …
Hilarious! Okay, so I will be honest. Ice Age Collision Course wasn’t really needed, and we could have lived without it, unless we were driving on a stupendous plane that would have thrilled us beyond limit like Pixar movies generally do. Despite the apparent, Ice Age: Collision Course still manages to pull it off, owing …
