Funny Money: The Dane Cook Story is now streaming on Netflix. The platform lists the documentary among its November 6 releases.

In its release guide, Netflix says the film is directed by Brett Harvey and follows Dane Cook as he revisits the family relationship that affected his finances and career. The guide identifies Cook, his sisters Courtney Cook and Kelly Amann, his wife Kelsi Cook, and other people connected to the story among the interviewees.

A new Netflix documentary

Netflix’s November 2026 release listing places the 1-hour-58-minute documentary on the service on November 6. For viewers interested in the film-industry side of a performer’s career, the project is framed as a first-person account rather than a dramatized feature.

The available official material supports a focused takeaway: this is a documentary centered on Cook’s account of the consequences of a family betrayal. It does not establish broader claims about the underlying events beyond Netflix’s description.
